Summary: Doctors are more likely to be depressed? I'm not surprised

Hi! Today I will write about an article that I read in the website http://www.theguardian.com/ . This article is written by Ranjana Srivastava and it refers to the depression in doctors.
Ranjana Srivastava is a doctor and she tells a bit about of her experience as doctor and of the experience of her friends and how this job affects their lifes
The work schedule of the doctors is complicated, they haven´t a fixed schedule; besides they is constantly in contact with painful events and difficult situations with their patients. The solution for continue with their normal life is forget this success, but not always is possible.
For this, an Australian study shows that the doctors suffer of depression more frequently that the rest of population, the results of the investigation shows that 1 of each 10 doctor have suicidal thought in the last year and beside this study tell that the doctors are more prone to suffer mental illness.

But there is other thing, the doctors is conscious this situation, they see how their colleagues suffer or experiment changes in their lifes in result of to be unable for bear the pain that they see all days, and for this they prefer don´t work with who suffer some mental illness, because they everyone think that for suffer depression or other illness they are less able as doctors, and this is a stigma that must to be eliminated.
